SiberSafe/XMetaL XML integration
Our SiberSafe/XMetaL XML integration extends XMetaL authoring into a complete, cohesive, and cost-effective XML content management environment for technical documents. The SiberSafe/XMetaL integration offers standard SiberSafe functionality directly from XMetaL via menus and context-sensitive commands. SiberSafe is tightly integrated with the latest version, XMetaL Author Enterprise 6.0.
SiberSafe/XMetaL DITA or S1000D integration
Our XMetaL integration delivers SiberSafe DITA Edition or S1000D Edition functionality in conjunction with XMetaL. SiberSafe has an integrated menu to deliver seamless content management functionality from within the XMetaL user interface. From the familiar XMetaL environment, users can open a topic or data module and retrieve the content along with associated dependencies such as DITA xref targets, S1000D internalRef targets, link targets, and referenced images. And content reuse is streamlined and straightforward via SiberSafe's support for DITA content references (conrefs) and S1000D DMrefs.
The XMetaL integration incorporates SiberLogic's flexible, powerful workflow functionality:
- authoring and review assignments are submitted and automatically distributed via workflow email
- each contributor has a list of tasks and knows how and when to execute them
- managers can keep track of progress and resource allocation
With a host of additional features such as collaborative review and translation management, the complexity of the technical documentation process is reduced to a single integrated platform.
