S1000D Authoring Features
SiberSafe S1000D CSDB offers an integrated authoring environment, both for on-line content contribution and off-line content authoring. Change tracking and highlighting is built into the authoring environment so that changes automatically progress through the workflow and propagate into the S1000D data module "reason for update" fields.
SiberSafe S1000D authoring environment allows the user to conveniently insert references to illustrations, other data modules or locations within the same data module as well as IPD CSN references. Hotspots targetting other modules or locations within the same module can be added to S1000D illustration graphic elements.
Descriptive, Procedural, Fault Isolation, Maintenance (including Maintenance Allocation Chart), Check List, Publication and Illustrated Part Catalog are among the data module types supported by SiberSafe S1000D authoring environment.
